THE GARDEN WITHIN

Flower Essences Workshop for Families | Tuesday June 24th, 9-11am

Lake MacDonald

Service Description

This event; 'The Garden Within' is brought to you by our Communities For Change initiative. Each term at The Wild Exchange, the families participating in the nature play programs collaborate to coordinate a free community workshop. The event is funded by the profits from the term, making it free to anyone in the local community (until spots fill). The criteria for the event is that it must prioritise environmental wellbeing, and it must involve the children! Lead by experienced Flower Essence Therapist, Abby, this gentle and empowering workshop teaches you and your children the art of creating your own flower essences for emotional wellbeing and energetic support. Together, we’ll explore how nature offers powerful support for our emotional and energetic systems, helping us feel more connected, calm, and balanced. You’ll be guided through a simple nature-based attunement practice and learn how to safely co-create a flower essence for yourself and your family. Made with sunlight, water, and the energetic imprint of flowers, flower essences are the most sustainable form of plant medicine and herbalism available. Using either a no-pick method, or a small handful of blooms, a single co-created essence can yield tens of thousands of remedies—offering deep emotional and energetic support without ever needing to harvest the plant again. Offering us gentle medicine for both people and planet. This is a beautiful way for you and your children to deepen your relationship with the natural world, support emotional resilience, and create something meaningful together. Tickets are per family and are strictly limited due to parking limitations. Please carpool where possible. You should bring a glass bowl, a picnic rug, hats and water bottles. You may also bring some snacks for your family, however there will be baked goods and fruit platters available for everyone.
