The Wild Exchange is owned and operated by Fuller Bros Electrical (ABN: 30 622 616 504). In this policy, any reference to ‘us’ ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to The Wild Exchange and our director and staff.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY

Your privacy is important to us. We provide you with this policy so that you know and understand the way that your personal information is collected and used and so that you can make informed choices for you and your family.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

We collect personal information about you when you use our website. Specifically, when you book an event, class, program, contact us via the submissions form, subscribe to our mailing lists, or purchase a product or subscription from us. The information we collect may include your name, email address, phone number, gender, nationality, medical information you disclose, emergency contact details, media preferences, financial details and IP address.

Most of this personal information is collected from the registration forms that you fill out when booking in for an in-person class or program. We require this information to ensure we are able to keep you and your family safe while you visit us. 

As well as personal information, we also collect general information about the different pages you visit or your activities on our site and within our services. This sort of information is collected by tracking devices such as cookies and is usually collected for statistical purposes and to improve the service that we provide to our users. You can disable cookies however that will limit your use of The Wild Exchange. Where such information is not considered to be personal information, the National Privacy Principles will not apply, and we reserve the right to use the information obtained however we so choose.

USE OF INFORMATION

The information we collect about you is used for various reasons. We use the information to improve and personalise the service that we provide to you; to better tailor our service to the needs and desires of our members generally; to provide you with information about products and services that we feel you may be interested in; to communicate with you; to conduct competitions, promotions surveys or reports and to investigate any complaints made by you or about you by other users. You should not provide us with any personal information that you feel is confidential and which you are not happy for us to use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

DISCLOSURE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION

We will also share and disclose your personal information to third parties under certain circumstances: We will never sell your personal information to a third party.

Where a third party is engaged by us to provide services on our behalf (such as processing credit card transactions and for marketing, sponsorship, promotional or advertising purposes), where you authorise us to provide your information; where we reasonably believe that you have breached our Terms and Conditions of Use or have engaged or are engaging in any kind of unlawful conduct. As required or permitted by any law.

ACCESS TO AND UPDATING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

As a subscriber of Nature Mail, you can access and update your personal information within your account. You may also contact us in relation to having access to the personal information that we hold about you. We endeavour to ensure that all information held by us about you is complete, accurate and up-to-date. We ask that, as and when necessary, you update your personal information by either logging in and updating, or contacting us to request the update.

UNSUBSCRIBE/OPT-OUT

By booking into any in-person class or program, or by becoming a subscriber of Nature Mail, you agree to receive our Marketing and Communications including but not limited to email, SMS and other methods of communication. We will always give you the opportunity to unsubscribe, unfollow or opt-out of receiving advertising, marketing or promotional materials sent by us.

To unsubscribe or opt-out, simply follow the inscriptions on the method of communication or send our friendly Customer Service Team an email at hello@thewildexchange.com and they will take care of this for you.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND MEDIA CONSENT

Upon booking a class or workshop at The Wild Exchange, you will be asked to read and agree to our code of conduct, and disclose whether or not you agree to having any photographs of you or your child taken and used for online marketing purposes. Our team are made aware of all media consent preferences and adhere to these to the best of their ability, briefing all families to refrain from taking images of anyone else's children. We take child protection very seriously and in the event a breach is made and you or your child's image has been captured by another participant at an in person event without your consent or approval, please notify The Wild Exchange immediately. Our team will endeavour to have the images removed promptly on your behalf.
